According to the article below, more and more ex patriated Americans are giving up their citizenship because of the tax requirements imposed on them by U.S. tax laws.  Although the number giving up their citizenship is not astounding, the numbers have increased from approximately 500 in 2009, to almost 1800 this year.  Read the complete article:
